Everything You Need To Know About Installing Your iPhone Screen Protector Without Bubbles

Although applying a new screen protector seems easy, applying it properly without those annoying bubbles can actually be a real challenge. In this guide, we’ll go through the process step by step to ensure success, so keep reading.

Get It Prepped

Before installing the screen protector, it’s important to ensure the screen is clean. Use the microfibre cloth or wipe that comes with the screen protector, or a microfibre cloth with some water, to clean any debris from the screen.

Make sure you also have any tools you need to hand. Have a piece of tape to help remove dust, a microfibre cloth for cleaning, and a tool to assist with precise placement.

Easy Application

The first step is to ensure the device is cleaned. Then, carefully peel off the protective layer from the screen protector, taking care not to touch the sticky side. Align the protector with the device’s screen and then gently push it into position. Working from the top to the bottom ensures a more accurate position.

To avoid any air bubbles, use some tape to remove any dust particles that may remain before laying down the protector. Once it’s in place, use a microfiber cloth to press any air bubbles out, starting from the centre. It’s important to take your time to ensure a smooth result here.

Give It Another Go

  • If you do find any bubbles remaining after you apply your  iPhone screen protector, we recommend gently lifting one edge and using a piece of tape to remove the dust causing the bubble. Then, reapply the protector, making sure it’s aligned properly to prevent new bubbles from forming.
  • If you find that the screen protector hasn’t been perfectly aligned the first time, it’s okay. Remove it gently and start the process again. Clean the device’s screen, gather any tools, and follow the steps again to achieve a bubble-free result.

Remember that it’s common to struggle with achieving perfect bubble-free alignment, especially the first time, so don’t be hard on yourself. Practice makes perfect!
