- Always track your screws to avoid putting back in the wrong place and damaging your device. You can draw a picture of your phone and tape the screws to the right places or use a screw mat
- Always power down your device prior to working on it

- Keep the springs clean and try not to touch them, oils from your fingers can affect conductivity.

Yucky but functional!
It was dirty and scratched up! The original from the phone I was repairing was in better condition after being run over... thankfully it did function but yikes if I knew the original worked I would have kept it in!
