- Always track your screws to avoid putting back in the wrong place and damaging your device. You can draw a picture of your phone and tape the screws to the right places or use a screw mat
- Always power down your device prior to working on it
- Make sure you always unplug the battery before attemping any component removal
- Because a heat gun is being used, it is recommended you remove the battery and rear camera first to avoid heat directly on those parts
- The rear glass is heavily glued down, a lot of patience is required to remove the glass
- Do not remove the rear camera lens for this part, you will need to break the glass around it and leave it in place. This rear glass goes over the top of the camera lens
