- Always track your screws to avoid putting back in the wrong place and damaging your device. You can draw a picture of your phone and tape the screws to the right places or use a screw mat
- Always power down your device prior to working on it

Not convinced parts were authentic
Have experienced network issues since board was installed will be swapping back to the old one even if the charging port is busted. Battery label was entirely different, no brand on it at all, did not match the photo on the store page. Specifications were slightly off but they may have been within tolerance, with out expert knowledge not willing to install a battery which wasn't identical to what is already in the phone. Very quick delivery time but I'm not certain the components are authentic, they don't look identical to what came out the phone.
